Remote Geomechanical Engineer | 12-Month Contract | Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities

• Geomechanical modelling: in-situ stress, geopressure & 3D earth models
• Wellbore stability: real-time monitoring, pre-drill & post-analysis
• Formation evaluation: log interpretation, rock testing & characterisation
• Production support: sand production, casing integrity & hydraulic fracturing
• Reservoir geomechanics: fault reactivation, cap rock integrity & EOR
• Exposure to shale gas, tight gas & heavy oil projects

Requirements

15+ years’ experience in Geomechanics

Strong background across drilling, production & reservoirs

Proven experience in modelling & simulation

Able to start within 2 weeks

Flexible to adjust working hours depending on project location
