- Civil Engineering Leyland £26 per hour 6-Month Contract Your new company A well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

The business delivers a range of infrastructure and groundwork projects across the North West and is known for its strong safety culture and consistent pipeline of work.

Your new role You will be responsible for managing a site in Leyland, overseeing earthworks and remediation works on a live project.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and coordination of subcontractors while ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include: Overseeing daily site operations on earthworks and remediation activities Managing subcontractors and site teams Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management Conducting site inspections and maintaining quality standards Managing site documentation and permits What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering Strong background in earthworks and/or remediation projects Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams xwzovoh and meet deadlines What you'll get in return Competitive hourly rate of £26 per hour 6-month contract with a reputable contractor Opportunity to work on a key infrastructure project Supportive and professional working environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
