About the role

Peopleforce Recruitment are looking for an experienced Purchasing Operations Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a key role supporting the smooth running of procurement operations, systems, reporting and governance within a pharmaceutical enviorment. The Role You will: * Lead and oversee day-to-day purchasing and procurement operations. * Ensure processes meet company policies, controls and governance requirements. * Manage procurement systems, supplier data and reporting. * Analyse spend, supplier and savings information to identify opportunities. * Support contract administration, approvals and commercial documentation. * Build strong relationships across Procurement, Finance, Legal and the wider business. * Identify and deliver improvements to procurement processes and systems. * Provide guidance, training and support to stakeholders. About You We’re looking for someone who has: * Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or business administration. * Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. * Experience with business systems, data and reporting. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier management and contract administration. * Experience coordinating teams, projects or operational activities. * Ideally, experience working within a corporate or regulated environment.
