Setting: Specialist SEN Provision within Mainstream Primary School
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their specialist SEN provision from September 2026.
This SEN Teacher role will involve teaching a small class of pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties and complex learning needs. The successful SEN Teacher will work closely with support staff, therapists and the SENCO to provide a structured, nurturing and highly personalised learning environment.
The school has a strong reputation for inclusion and invests heavily in SEN support, staffing and resources. Staff within the provision benefit from excellent teamwork, strong leadership support and ongoing professional development.
Key responsibilities for this SEN Teacher role include:
Planning and delivering personalised learning for pupils with SEN
Managing and supporting a team of Learning Support Assistants
Creating a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment
Supporting communication, sensory and social development
Working closely with parents and outside professionalsThe ideal SEN Teacher will:
Hold QTS with recent UK teaching experience
Have experience working with pupils with SEN, ASD or complex needs
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and adaptability
Be patient, organised and highly collaborative
