Facilities Manager, £40-45k We are seeking applications from organised and proactive Facilities Managers who have a background in overseeing the smooth, safe and efficient operation of a busy working environment.

Overview Manage the day-to-day running of facilities, ensuring buildings, equipment and services are maintained to a high standard.

Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and inspections.

Oversee contractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant legislation.

Monitor facilities budgets, purchase orders and service contracts.

Support workplace improvements, refurbishments, moves and space planning projects where required.

Maintain accurate records relating to maintenance, compliance, inspections and contractor activity.

Respond promptly to facilities-related issues, emergencies and business continuity requirements.

Promote a safe, clean and well-organised working environment for employees, visitors and contractors.

Requirements Previous experience in facilities management, building services, maintenance coordination or a similar role.

Good understanding of health and safety, compliance and contractor management.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Confident communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders at all levels.

Practical problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to day-to-day challenges.

Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Relevant facilities management, health and safety or technical qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
