Registered Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee an Extra Care service in the HU3 area. This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring high-quality care delivery, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and positive outcomes for service users. Requirements: * Significant practitioner and/or management experience, skills and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: 1. Services for older people/people with dementia/memory loss 2. Residential day or community services for older people 3. Extra care or home care services for older people 4. Prevention and re-enablement services for older people * Experience of supervising and being a role model to staff and plan rotas to meet the needs and preferences of service users * A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Diploma in Social Work, RMN/RGN, NVQ 4/5). * A degree level or post- graduate qualification * A warm, person centred and respectful approach to working with older people * Ability to assess needs and devise and implement outcome focused care/support plans * Ability to work positively and collaboratively with colleagues, service users and their families, professionals and stakeholders * Skills and confidence in networking and developing partnerships with external colleagues and agencies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen sensitively to others * Ability to produce high quality written reports within deadlines * Excellent IT skills with the ability to contribute to a computerised record keeping system * Working knowledge of computer applications and ability to use computerised record keeping system * A commitment to equal opportunities and the promotion of anti-discriminatory practice * Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service If you meet the requirements and can start immediately, we would be very pleased to hear from you
