Technical (R&D) Manager

R&D / Technical Manager - Ashford, Kent About the Opportunity Paradigm Employment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international engineering and manufacturing business for an experienced R&D / Technical Manager. Reporting into the Technical Director, you'll lead a small technical team while overseeing the development of new electronic hardware products from concept through to manufacture. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership and product innovation. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop a small R&D technical team * Manage the development of new electronic hardware products * Produce technical specifications and product documentation * Liaise with suppliers throughout the product development process * Support PCB/electronic board development * Drive continuous product improvement and innovation * Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure successful product delivery About You You'll ideally have: * Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline * Experience managing technical or engineering teams * Strong electronics design and product development experience * Knowledge of PCB/electronic board development * Experience working with suppliers and technical stakeholders * Understanding of manufacturing processes and product development * Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills What's on Offer * Salary of £42,000-£50,000 * Bonus scheme * Permanent, full-time position * Opportunity to lead innovative product development projects * Career progression within an international organisation * Collaborative and forward-thinking engineering environment About Paradigm Employment Services At Paradigm Employment Services, we specialise in connecting talented professionals with leading employers across Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, Technology, Commercial and Professional sectors throughout the UK.
