HGV Tipper Driver

Raymond Brown Quarry Products Ltd is looking for reliable and safety-conscious HGV Tipper Drivers to join our team.

Previous tipper-driving experience is preferred, but it is not essential, as training can be provided to the right candidates.

Guaranteed minimum of 45 hours per week at £14.67 per hour

The role

You will carry out daily tipper-driving duties while complying with road transport legislation, company procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring your vehicle remains safe and roadworthy
Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph and working-time regulations
Maintaining regular communication with the Traffic Office about the progress of your work
Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time
Reporting incidents, accidents and vehicle defects immediately to the Transport Team
Following driver inductions, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and other road users
Carrying out all work safely and responsibly

What we're looking for

A valid Category C/Class 2 driving licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
A responsible and safety-focused approach
Good communication and time-management skills
The ability to complete paperwork accurately
Previous tipper-driving experience is desirable, although training is available
