Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home

Chatham, Kent | Start Monday

Start Monday is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a four-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Chatham, supporting young people aged 12-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is an opportunity for a confident, child-centred leader to manage the day-to-day running of the home, lead and develop the staff team, maintain high standards of care and safeguarding, and ensure full regulatory compliance.

You will need:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent.
At least five years' relevant experience in children's residential care.
A minimum of two years' management experience within an Ofsted-registered children's home.
A recent Ofsted inspection grading of Good or Outstanding.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation and regulatory requirements.
A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.We are looking for a resilient, approachable leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
