Our Advisory Business Unit is recruiting for a new Building Surveyor, either working towards the MRICS qualification or newly qualified MRICS to join the Surveying Advisory team. Your role will require you to:Embrace the responsibility of service delivery as a new Building Surveyor on our growing team.Contribute to the continued success and growth of the teamDeliver a client facing advisory service to a high standardThe primary role is conducting various types of building surveys, including undertaking project work for our wide range of clients, including preparation of planning, and building regulations applications, preparation of tender documents and contract administration, using the NEC3 and other suites of contractsYour Team:The Surveying Advisory team comprises experienced Surveyors and Engineers across the country, collaborating with clients across a wider range of sectors and markets, delivering expert technical advice on built assets from acquisition, through construction and operating phases to disposal.The team regularly undertakes Condition / Defect Surveys and analysis, Asset capture exercises, IC / Construction monitoring roles, Fire Risk Assessments, Compliance and operational audits, Contract Admin, NEC Supervisor, CDM and Clerk of Works roles, across all sectors.This depth of service has allowed us to establish long term trusted relationships with a significant number of key clients in both the public and private sectors in the UK, Europe and beyond.Are a newly Chartered Building Surveyor or are working towards your MRICS qualification, with demonstrable experience post-graduation.Experience undertaking building surveys, condition inspections and preparing technical reports.Understanding of building construction, building defects and maintenance requirements.Experience within the education, healthcare, local authority, defence, or commercial property sectors.Exposure to technical due diligence, asset condition surveys, or project monitoring services.An interest in developing a career in technical advisory services, supporting investors, funders, government bodies, and asset owners in managing technical and commercial risk throughout the lifecycle of built assets.Can self-perform to maximise your contribution and achieve appropriate high-quality and timely delivery of our services.Can demonstrate commitment to the achievement of team/business unit objectives and plans.Can understand the financial and legal impact of your work.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
