Our Data and TechnologyServices division provides services to over 14,000 staff and student users.Data and Technology Services (DTS)delivers technology enabled business change with a focus ranging from strategicand operational business outcomes to service improvements of incumbentservices. The scope of DTS projects spans from infrastructure technologies andstrategic systems to business processes within end user facing services.The postholder will reportinto the Lead Technical Business Analyst. This is ahands-on role. Key responsibilities include business and technical analysisthroughout the project lifecycle, with the postholder working directly withbusiness and technical stakeholders to understand problems, elicit andchallenge requirements, analyse processes and data flows, develop solutionoptions, and translate business needs into clear requirements for technicaldelivery teams. The role requires the postholder to personally leadrequirements elicitation activities, support testing and service transition,and contribute to business change required for LSE to maximise benefit. The postholder will beresponsible for researching and understating business needs being addressed bythe product team, current technology environment, and utilising incomingtechnology solutions to develop solutions and/or service(s) that bridge gap betweenthe current and desired states, whilst ensuring the team is solving the rightissue with the right tools. Candidates should have/be:Significant experience in authoring highquality documentation for business analysis activities, including businessrequirements, options analysis, process design BPMN 2.0, user stories,test scripts and acceptance criteria for a technical system delivery Able to gather andinterpret user requirements and produce viable user-centric solutions inaccordance with regulatoryrequirements and School policies and procedures.Ability to convert business requirementsinto technical outputs such as systemic workflows, data models and technicalspecifications for Integrations, API’s and data structures Able to identify risks, gaps and implementationchallenges and propose effective mitigation strategiesWe offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.For further information about the post, please see the how to apply document, job description and the person specification.To apply for this post, please go to .
