Engineering Technician

Summary of the role As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing engineering and operational performance, ensuring processes run efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You’ll be responsible for leading teams, improving systems, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support seamless operations. Key responsibilities * Lead and develop engineering and operational teams to achieve performance targets * Drive continuous improvement across logistics, warehouse, and supply chain processes * Manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively to deliver value * Oversee materials management to ensure efficiency and availability * Implement and optimise systems * Ensure compliance with health & safety and operational standards * Support strategic initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs About you * Proven experience in an Engineering leadership role * Strong background in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations * Skilled in vendor negotiation and supplier management * Experience using ERP systems * A confident, personable leader who motivates and develops teams * Results-driven with a proactive, hands-on approach * Able to work both independently and collaboratively This role is Mon-Fri 39hrs per week. All between 08:00am - 17:00pm (so zero shifts involved) Some excellent benefits as part of this exciting role. Including 33 days annual leave
