Pay:£17.75 per hour
Guaranteed Pay:Minimum 48 hours paid per week – even if you work less!
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Start Times: 04:00am – 06:00am
Shift Length: 10–12 hours
Drops: 5–10 per shift
Position:Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers for an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity based in Avonmouth, with newly passed drivers welcome to apply.

This is a double-manned delivery role, working alongside a Driver's Mate. The role involves regular heavy lifting and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

The Role

• £17.75 per hour
• Minimum 48 hours paid per week, even if you work less
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Monday to Friday work
• Start times between 04:00am and 06:00am
• HGV Class 2 driving
• Double-manned deliveries with a Driver's Mate
• 5–10 drops per shift
• Typical shifts are 10–12 hours
• Heavy lifting and manual handling involved
• Frequent getting in and out of the vehicle throughout the day
• Ongoing work available
• Induction and assessment available ASAP

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
• Newly passed drivers accepted
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Comfortable getting in and out of the lorry multiple times per day
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good customer service and communication skills
