Early Intervention Worker Location: Enfield (Family Hubs, Children’s Centres & Community Settings) Contract: Initial 3 months Hours: 35 hours per week Rate: £21.67 per hour (Umbrella) (£17.33 PAYE an hour) About the Role Enfield Council’s Family Hubs are central to delivering early help and improving outcomes for children and families. We are currently seeking Early Intervention / Family Help Intervention Workers to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a frontline, family-facing role focused on providing early support to families from pregnancy through early childhood, helping to build confidence, resilience, and positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver early intervention and family support services to children and families Work with families from pregnancy through early years development Facilitate group-based and targeted interventions within Family Hubs and community settings Support parents and carers in developing parenting skills and confidence Promote early help, play, communication, and child development Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure timely support Support safeguarding practices and contribute to early identification of needs About You We are looking for candidates with: Experience in early help, early intervention, or family support services Background in children’s centres, Family Hubs, or early years settings Experience working with children aged 0–5 and their families Ability to deliver both 1:1 and group-based interventions Strong communication and engagement skills Understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working Additional Information Community-based role across Enfield Family Hubs and satellite sites Flexibility required to work across different locations as needed Initial 3-month contract with potential extension What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rate of £21.67 (umbrella) Opportunity to support meaningful early intervention work Join a supportive and community-focused service Contribute to improving outcomes for children and families in Enfield If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply or get in touch for more information
