The role - Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software - Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores - Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance / inspections - Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management and by working with our external contractors  The ideal candidate will be - Highly numerate - Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required - Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues - Experienced using data management tools such as MRP. - Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand - Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience - Experience of working in an ISO9001 manufacturing or engineering business is desirable  Benefits include 33 days holiday inc. bank holidays 3% statutory pension contribution  This role is immediately available for the right person, therefore don't delay in sending your application to Jon Goodman by email or telephoning (phone number removed) quoting J10571.
