What will you be doing? As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT infrastructure projects.
You'll design, install, and configure server, storage, and network environments, provide technical pre-sales input, and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
This is a hands-on role that combines technical consultancy, project delivery, and 3rd line support.
What will you need? Proven experience deploying and supporting servers, storage, and LAN/WLAN networks
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Experience with backup and recovery systems in virtualised environments (e.g.
Veeam)
* Skilled in firewall and web filter configuration and network authentication (e.g.
Radius)
* Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and design proposals
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical, customer-focused approach
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally What would be desirable? xwzovoh Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
* Knowledge of HPE server/storage, Aruba networking, and Smoothwall appliances
* Understanding of SD-WAN technologies and cloud-integrated solutions
* Previous experience in technical pre-sales or consultancy KEY SKILLS
