Electronics Inspection Technician

Electronics Inspection Technician Location: Bromsgrove Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Inspection Technician to join a specialist technical business supporting customers across the electronics, medical device and manufacturing sectors. Working within an in-house inspection laboratory, you will inspect and analyse customer samples using specialist equipment, identify issues and communicate your findings through technical reports and directly with customers. Duties of an Inspection Services Technician: * Inspect and analyse customer samples using 2D/3D X-ray, microscopes and test equipment * Investigate defects and technical issues and provide clear findings * Produce technical reports and communicate results to customers * Maintain accurate job and sample records * Handle samples in line with ESD procedures * Work with internal teams to plan inspections and discuss findings * Support the day-to-day running of the laboratory What you need to apply: * Experience within an electronics or manufacturing environment * Understanding of SMT, THT and electronics assembly * Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail * Ability to understand and communicate technical information * Good written and verbal communication skills * Previous X-ray inspection experience is beneficial but not essential – training is available * Customer-focused and well organised What's on offer? * £30,000 - £40,000 per annum * Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm * Specialist training and development * Opportunity to develop expertise in advanced inspection technology * Varied, technical and customer-facing role By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
