The Senior HEOR Manager role is vital in ensuring outstanding delivery of health economics solutions to clients on time and within budget, and actively contributes to the continued growth of the business.RequirementsAt least 6 years professional experience within health economics, market access or consulting positions, within the pharmaceutical industryIn depth experience of project management and process developmentStrong knowledge and hands on experience/specific training in developing financial models, burden of disease models, cost-effectiveness models, pricing models, systematic reviews, direct/network meta-analysis, survival/statistical analyses, budget impact models, value dossiers, HTA submissions, scientific publications, policy and opinion papers, health service capacity models and iPad models, across a broad range of treatment and disease areasExtensive knowledge of HTA assessment methods and processes, and understanding of pricing and reimbursement systems in the worldExperience of managing and developing a teamExcellent business development experience including lead generation, proposal and pitch developmentMinimum 2.1 in a numerical based degree such as Mathematics, MORSE, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Operational Science or EconomicsMSc in Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or Econometrics, or equivalentExcellent IT and numerical skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent statistical coding skills using VBA, R, STATA, SAS, SPSS or other softwareResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and technical expertise both to clients and internally, and demonstrate experience of developing health economic strategies for HTAs across the worldLead, manage and quality check high quality delivery of health economics solutions for clients to time and budget including (but not limited to): financial models, burden of disease models, cost-effectiveness models, cost-minimisation models, cost-benefit models, pricing models, systematic reviews, direct / network meta-analysis, survival/statistical analyses, budget impact models, value dossiers, HTA submissions / national P&R dossiers, scientific publications, policy and opinion papers, health service capacity models and iPad modelsDrive project efficiencies through identification of clear process improvements on a projectReview and sign-off methodologies for proposed projectsDemonstrate advanced modelling skills, as well as knowledge and practical applications of all relevant methods in health economicsClient facing responsibilities include leading technical discussions with clients around model assumptions, methods, results, and ability to develop strategic recommendations for clients and provide commercial strategy inputManage the health economics team, coordinating the teams workload/resourcesEnsure project management guidelines are strictly adhered to for projects and contribute to the improvement and continuous development of company standards in health economics solutionsDevelop a record of peer-reviewed publications/presentations, and attend and present at external meetings including conferences and HTA committee meetingsGenerate repeat and new business, lead proposals and pitches to convert business leads, and actively manage the development of new offeringsLead at least one office initiative which contributes to the company's mission and vision, including but not limited to recruitment and training for new team membersRemunerationCompetitive salary + benefits packageThis is a very exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy with considerable scope to develop your career.
