Data Insights & Impact Analyst (12 month FTC)
About the role
Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for a Data Insights & Impact Analyst (12 month FTC) on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional who is passionate about turning information into meaningful insights that influence strategy, improve performance, and demonstrate organisational impact. You will play a key role in developing performance frameworks, enhancing reporting capabilities, improving data quality, and supporting evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you will help foster a culture where data and research are at the heart of continuous improvement and organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of the organisation's Performance Management Framework.
- Design and maintain performance reporting systems, dashboards, and management information using Excel and Power BI.
- Develop meaningful KPIs and performance measures that drive informed decision-making.
- Analyse performance data and provide actionable insights to senior leaders and managers.
- Conduct regular data quality reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of information.
- Monitor emerging research, trends, and policy developments, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
- Undertake research and benchmarking activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing papers for a variety of stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of organisational strategies through robust evidence gathering and analysis.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, accreditations, funding returns, and performance-related submissions.
- Lead and coordinate consultation and stakeholder engagement activities to support service enhancement.
- Contribute to the production of organisational publications, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and evidence-based.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a performance, insights, business intelligence, research, or analytical role.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience interpreting and presenting complex data to a range of audiences.
- Knowledge of data quality management, governance, and reporting best practice.
- Ability to conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
