IT Client Delivery Engineer (SC)

Our client are looking for a Client Services Engineer based at in Moor Row, West Cumbria on a permanent basis to join their growing support team.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll provide deskside support for a wide range of IT incidents and service requests. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in keeping users productive by resolving hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing deskside support for IT incidents and service requests
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Performing break-fix repairs and delivering quick, effective solutions
• Carrying out IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks
• Managing your own ticket queue to meet SLA and KPI targets
• Keeping ticket records accurate and up to date
• Communicating clearly with users, translating technical issues into simple terms
• Collaborating with wider IT teams and workflow managers
• Supporting ad hoc tasks and project work as required
• Ensuring compliance with security and health & safety policies

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous IT support experience (ideally 2+ years)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience diagnosing and repairing desktops and laptops
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Active Directory
• Basic server knowledge (smart hands support)
• Network troubleshooting or build experience
• Printer installation and configuration
• Familiarity with VPN and remote working technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
