About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and well organised Legal Secretary to join our Residential & Commercial Property teams, supporting solicitors who specialise in conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, and remortgages. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth progression of property matters by providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, helping to deliver an efficient and client-focused service, working within a friendly and supportive office environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to manage a busy and fastpaced workload with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a professional approach, and the ability to communicate confidently with clients, estate agents, and third parties. You will be involved in: • Preparing legal documents and correspondence relating to residential or commercial conveyancing transactions • Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners • Managing diaries, appointments, and key transaction deadlines • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner • Opening and maintaining client files, both electronically and in hard copy • Assisting with completion statements and financial transactions • Supporting the exchange and completion process • Maintaining accurate records and case management systems • Contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the department Requirements/Desirables for the Residential / Commercial Property Secretary: • Previous experience in a legal , medical or insurance environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience using legal case management systems (desirable) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability • Strong client care and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Please apply today, this role is offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits, within a supportive working environment and well established Law firm
