SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Year 5)

Zest Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Fulham in the recruitment of a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with Autism (ASD) and associated challenging behaviour for the full academic year.

About the Role:
* Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position for the academic year
* Providing 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with Autism (ASD)
* Supporting emotional regulation and managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to the pupil’s needs
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
* Encouraging independence, confidence and positive peer relationships

* A mixed, state-funded primary school for ages 3–11 serving the Fulham community
* One class per year group (1-form entry)
* Ofsted rated Good in its most recent inspection

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with ASD and/or challenging behaviour
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management skills and positive behaviour strategies
* Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with pupils
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
