Cloud/AI/ML/Transformation/Agile Role: Project Manager (Contract) - AI / Machine Learning Programme Day Rate: Up to £585 a day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: Until March 2027 (extension likely) Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite (London) Start: ASAP Overview We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a machine learning proof-of-concept within a large-scale operational environment. This is a high-impact role focused on stakeholder coordination, system integration, and delivery of AI-driven insights, with strong potential to expand into broader AI initiatives over time. Key Responsibilities Coordinate multiple stakeholder groups across different departments with varying priorities Manage integration points between a machine learning model and existing enterprise systems Work with operational KPIs and dashboards used at scale across a nationwide network Build strong relationships proactively and drive clarity in an environment where requirements are not always well defined Ensure smooth delivery across a multi-supplier landscape Required Experience Proven track record delivering technology transformation projects (Cloud, integrations, migrations) Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale, multi-supplier environments Background in operational industries such as Logistics, Retail, or Manufacturing Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery approaches Ability to differentiate machine learning vs. generative AI concepts What We're Looking For A proactive, self-starting Project Manager who thrives in ambiguity Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams Experience delivering across multiple projects rather than a single long-term programme Comfortable navigating large, complex organisations A mindset focused on ownership, decision-making, and continuous progress Additional Information Hybrid working with minimum 2 days per week onsite (flexible up to 3) Strong opportunity to extend and contribute to future AI-led initiatives If this sounds like your next contract, apply now or get in touch to learn more
