I'm currently recruiting for Grammar School in Medway seeking an Permanent English Teacher to join their department, starting January 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is passionate about English Language and Literature and delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum.

QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching English Language and Literature
Confident delivering English across KS3-KS4 , with KS5 experience desirable
Strong classroom and behaviour management
GCSE exam preparation and assessment experience advantageous
Ability to plan engaging and differentiated lessons
A strong commitment to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and progress
ECTs are encouraged to apply
