The role will focus on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming, supporting technically complex engineering and manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities * Support and develop MIG and TIG welding processes * Programming and optimisation of automated/robotic welding systems * Robot programming, setup and troubleshooting * Develop and improve welding processes and parameters * Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams * Support welding trials, testing and continuous improvement activities * Troubleshoot welding and automation issues Experience Required * Strong background in Welding Engineering * MIG and TIG welding knowledge * Experience with automated/robotic welding * Robot programming experience * Understanding of welding processes, parameters and quality * Background within Automotive, Automation, Nuclear, Manufacturing or a similar engineering environment This is an excellent opportunity for a Welding Engineer with a combination of hands-on welding knowledge, automation experience and robotic programming skills to join a technically challenging engineering environment
