Industrial Control Panel Wireman / Electrical Panel WirerWe are looking for an experienced Industrial Control Panel Wireman / Electrical Panel Wirer to join our clients team.16 - 18/hrTemporary to Permanent | Full-Time | Immediate StartThe RoleYou will be responsible for the electrical assembly and wiring of industrial control panels, working from electrical schematics and drawings with minimal training or supervision.The successful candidate will be confident working independently and able to produce a consistently high standard of workmanship.Control Panel Wirer Key RequirementsProven experience wiring industrial control panels.The ability to read and work independently from electrical schematics and drawings.Experience wiring panels incorporating Siemens S7-1200 PLC equipment.Familiarity with the older Siemens S7-300 series.Experience mounting electrical components and preparing, crimping, terminating and labelling cables.Good knowledge of control circuits, PLC inputs and outputs, relays, contactors, safety circuits and variable-speed drives (VSDs).The ability to carry out wiring checks and assist with testing and fault-finding.A strong standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail.The ability to work efficiently and become productive with minimal training or supervision.Working HoursMonday–Thursday: 7:45am–4:30pmFriday: 7:45am–12:30pmStart Date & EmploymentImmediate start available.The position will initially be offered on a temporary agency basis or straight permanentWho We're Looking ForThis role would suit an experienced control panel wirer / wireman who can hit the ground running, work confidently from drawings and take pride in producing neat, accurate and reliable control-panel wiring.If you have the relevant industrial control-panel experience and are looking for a long-term permanent opportunity, we would like to hear from you.Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
