Field Service Engineer

Field Water Purification Service Engineer South West of England £40,000 - £45,000pa Your Recruitment Coach are looking for an experienced Field Water Purification Service Engineer to join an established and growing business. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding of water purification equipment across customer sites throughout the UK. You’ll also travel to the company’s Wellingborough office for training and preparation when required. The role You’ll work on a range of water purification systems including: * Reverse Osmosis and Deionisation systems * Water softeners and filtration systems * UV systems and ring mains * Pumps, valves, tanks and control panels * Electrical and mechanical equipment * System sterilisation and pH correction systems You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, diagnosing faults and dealing directly with customers in a professional and technical manner. Experience with electrical/mechanical systems, PLCs, chemicals/COSHH and water purification equipment would be highly beneficial. About you We’re looking for someone who is: * Experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering * A strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail * Confident working independently and as part of a team * Customer-focused with good communication and reporting skills * Self-motivated and organised * Comfortable travelling throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays * Committed to health, safety and high-quality workmanship Training will be provided where required, so a willingness to learn is just as important as your existing experience.
