Relationship Manager (Project)

Relationship Manager – Voids Service Southwark Council | £330.38 per day Umbrella | Southwark, Surrey Southwark Council is looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to join its Voids Service and support a major recovery and transformation programme. The successful candidate will take responsibility for contractor performance, commercial oversight, governance, assurance and strategic supplier relationships, ensuring contractors deliver against KPIs, quality standards, compliance requirements, productivity targets and value-for-money objectives. Key responsibilities: * Manage relationships with multiple housing, repairs and property contractors. * Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, compliance and void turnaround times. * Oversee contractors supporting the Voids Recovery Programme, including Plentific providers. * Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly contractor performance reviews. * Conduct commercial reviews covering expenditure, valuations, variations and value for money. * Produce performance reports, dashboards and management information. * Identify underperformance, manage improvement plans and escalate key risks. * Support the reduction of aged void properties and rental income loss. Essential experience: * Strong experience managing housing, repairs, maintenance or property-related contracts. * Proven contractor relationship and performance management experience. * Experience with KPIs, commercial reviews and contract governance. * Experience working within social housing, local authority or regulated environments. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills. 📍 Location: Southwark, Surrey 💷 Rate: £330.38 per day Umbrella 🏠 Sector: Housing / Property 🎯 Focus: Contractor Management | Voids | Performance | Commercial Oversight Mandatory: Must have a UK Passport or a Full Right to Work in the UK For more information, contact Natasha Haddon
