We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of development and regeneration projects, helping clients identify environmental risks and deliver practical, sustainable solutions. 🔎 What You’ll Be Doing As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you’ll play a key role in assessing and managing land contamination and environmental risks. Your responsibilities will include: 🗺️ Environmental Site Assessments – Conduct Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations. 🧪 Contamination Assessment – Assess soil and groundwater contamination, identify pollutant linkages and undertake environmental risk assessments. 📑 Technical Reporting – Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments, remediation strategies and supporting documentation. 🤝 Project Delivery – Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. 🏗️ Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and industry best practice. 💡 Innovative Thinking – Help develop practical and innovative solutions to land contamination and wider environmental challenges. 🎯 What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You’ll ideally have: 🎓 A degree in Environmental Science, Geology or a related discipline. 💼 3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment. 🇬🇧 Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance. 🔬 Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation. ✍️ Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail. 🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders. 🚗 A full UK driving licence. 🌟 What’s In It For You?
