Machine Operative

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy production team. The successful candidate will operate and programme industrial machinery to produce high-quality components, ensure efficient production runs, and maintain safe working practices.

Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm

Location: Deeside

Pay: £13.24 per hour, paid weekly

Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor production machines to specification
- Program machines and adjust parameters to meet job requirements
- Load and unload materials, fixtures and tooling
- Perform routine quality checks and record production data
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and programming issues and escalate when necessary
- Carry out planned maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy work area
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering and quality teams to meet targets

Required skills & experience
- Proven experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment
- Experience programming industrial machines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose basic faults
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts where required
