About the role
- Behaviour mentor required in Stratford supporting students aged 11-16 with SEN needs
- Behaviour mentor role: Monday-Thursday (8:30am-4:30pm) in Stratford
- Fridays as a behaviour mentor at Barking site for paid training and qualification development
- Pay: £120-£150 per day
Role responsibilities:
- Behaviour mentor allocated to one child with SEN needs (1:1 support)
- Behaviour mentor to build trust, consistency, and positive routines
- Behaviour mentor to support emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Behaviour mentor to encourage engagement in education and personal development
- Behaviour mentor to act as a positive role model
- Schools in Stratford
- Community settings including youth centres, local libraries, community centres, and the child's home
