Our client, a top international law firm, is actively seeking an experienced and professional Legal Risk & Compliance specialist to join them on a permanent basis in London – working as their new Risk Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 5 years’ experience within Legal Conflicts and Compliance to work closely with their Senior Risk Manager, Conflicts Manager and Head of Risk, overseeing the day-to-day line management of Risk Analysts.

As the successful Risk Manager, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Serving as the escalation point for the Risk Analysts
• Addressing complex compliance inquiries, raised by Fee-Earners and support staff
• Delivering training to the wider Risk Team
• Managing the Risk Team inbox, ensuring tasks are addressed efficiently and effectively
• Reviewing and advising on client terms
• Resolving escalated conflict matters, alongside the Conflicts Manager
• Participating in recruitment processes for team needs
• Managing complex data protection matters (DSARS, data breaches)
• Leading on Risk Projects

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Legal Risk & Compliance and Conflicts
• Have excellent knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct
• Have experience line managing Analysts/Officers/Assistants
• Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis (around 3 days per week)
• Have experience in Data Protection
