About the role

Salary: £40,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading infrastructure, IT operations, or technical support teams
  • Strong people leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating technical teams
  • Experience delivering high-quality IT services within a complex organisation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive improvements in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams
  • Experience managing escalations and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Understanding of IT service management principles and operational processes
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a global infrastructure engineering team, supporting performance, collaboration, and career development
  • Create a strong team culture focused on service quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure operational priorities are effectively managed and resources are aligned to business needs
  • Drive improvements across service delivery, processes, and ways of working
  • Support effective management of incidents, escalations, and operational challenges
  • Ensure technology changes are delivered in a controlled and effective way
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide confidence around service performance and improvements
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and the overall delivery of infrastructure services
