Pay: £95-£120 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school supporting children and young people with a range of complex special educational needs and disabilities.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and individual learning plans.

• Supporting pupils with communication, sensory and learning needs.

• Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

• Building trusting relationships and providing consistent, nurturing support.

• Assisting with personal care and daily routines where required.

• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
