Senior Manager / Director - Nonprofit Tax

Excellent package Pro-tax are working with an established tax offering within the NFP space who are keen to add to the team with an experienced Senior Manager or Director to help grow our specialist Nonprofit Tax offering.
Working with charities, educational bodies, membership organisations and other nonprofit clients, you'll provide high-quality tax advice, build trusted client relationships, and play a key role in developing the practice alongside our tax and audit partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a charity tax specialist looking to take on a visible leadership role within a growing and highly regarded team.
Responsibilities
- Leading a portfolio of charity and nonprofit clients across compliance and advisory work.
- Advising on key nonprofit tax matters, including:
- Charity tax exemptions and reliefs
- Gift Aid
- Creative tax reliefs
- Non-primary purpose trading
- Property transactions
- Charity restructurings
- Mutual trading status
- Supporting colleagues with technical charity tax queries.
- Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and win new work.
- Delivering thought leadership, training and sector-focused events.
- Coaching and developing junior team members.
Ideal candidate
- Strong UK tax experience with a focus on charities and nonprofit organisations.
- Proven experience delivering both advisory and compliance services.
- CTA and/or ATT qualified (preferred).
- Commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills.
- Experience supporting business development and winning work.
- Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.
