Solution Consultant - Indirect Tax

A leading provider of tax software solutions is looking to hire a solution consultant in London. This role is a crucial part of the sales process and requires strong indirect tax experience and the ability to talk about client's reporting processes and tax technology needs. Supporting the sales teams, your main responsibilities will include assisting with shaping the direction of the tax products and offering clients practical solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparing technical resources for the sales teams to use.
• Acting as a product expert for direct tax solutions.
• Supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets.
• Communicating market needs to the product marketing team.
• Driving new opportunities via events and conferences.
• Identifying industry trends and collecting feedback.
• Updating stakeholders on latest product developments.
• Leading product demonstrations and aligning solutions to client's needs.
• Ensuring that an excellent service is provided to customers throughout the sales cycle and delivery process.
• Delivering proposals and customer business cases.
• Discussing client's processes and technology needs, suggesting ways to improves processes and resolve issues.

Main experience and skills required:

• Strong indirect tax and VAT consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of VAT implications and complex supply chain transactions.
• Experience of implementing solutions.
• Familiarity with ERPs and other financial systems.
• Strong presentation skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of tax regulations affecting organisations.
