Shift Manager - Engineering

Are you an existing Engineering Shift Manager, Engineering Supervisor or Engineering Team Leader looking for a new challenge with an established and growing food manufacturer? Our client, an international leader in their field. They're currently undergoing an exciting period of investment and seeking a proactive Engineering Shift Manager to lead, develop and motivate a shift engineering team made up of an Engineering Team Leader and Multi-skilled Engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead from the front, ensuring production continuity and the safe, efficient operation of site assets. Lead and develop the shift engineering team to maximise OEE and equipment reliability • Work closely with production and technical teams to maintain plant performance and product quality • Support continuous improvement initiatives alongside asset care and projects teams • Manage key engineering KPIs including downtime, PPM completion and response times Time-served and qualified (minimum Level 3) in a relevant engineering discipline • Experience in a leadership role such as Engineering Shift Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader • Background in fast-paced FMCG environments (food, drink, packaging, pharma or similar) • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair capability • You will be joining an experienced engineering team, managed by a down to earth, conscientious and professional leadership team within a robust company.
