Your new role

As a NodeJS Backend Developer, you’ll take ownership of
delivering backend features from initial design through to
production, working as part of a fast-moving Agile SaaS team.
You’ll build scalable, high-performance applications using NodeJS
and TypeScript, contribute to microservices and write clean,
well-tested code that delivers reliable results. You’ll work
closely with the wider technical and product teams, taking
ownership of your work and helping drive the continued growth of
the platform.

Ensuring your success

To succeed in this role, you’ll have commercial experience in
server-side development using NodeJS and TypeScript, ideally
within a fast-paced or growing environment. You’ll have
experience writing unit and integration tests, working with
microservices and SQL and/or NoSQL databases, alongside a good
understanding of CI/CD principles. Experience with NestJS, AWS or
another cloud platform, messaging technologies such as Kafka or
RabbitMQ, gRPC and OAuth2 would be advantageous. Most
importantly, you’ll be a proactive developer who takes ownership,
enjoys solving problems and is focused on delivering
high-quality, functioning software.
