Location: North Somerset
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 (4:30pm finish on Fridays)
Additional: Closed over Christmas
About the Company
A small UK-based SME is looking to recruit a Full-Time Administrator to join its team.
Previous industry experience would be desirable but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
The Role
- Assisting with other duties and tasks as required to support the smooth running of the business.
- Providing administrative support to senior members of the team.
- General Duties
- Sorting incoming and outgoing post.
- Filing and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring and maintaining stationery stocks.
- Completing meter readings as required.
- Ensuring adequate office equipment and supplies are maintained.
- General communication and liaison with customers and other parties by telephone and email.
- General Office Administration
- Liaising with contractors and clients regarding quotations and works.
- Ensuring annual reviews are booked in a timely manner.
- Preparing documents and information before reports are quality checked.
- Prioritising and administratively checking incoming reports received electronically.
- Preparing and sending quotations and managing relevant follow-ups.
- Assisting the Senior Administrator with client quotations.
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is provided to technical staff for booked appointments.
- Allocating work to technical staff.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the company diary.
- Liaising with customers by telephone and email regarding incoming works and requests.
- Technical Administration
This is a varied administration role supporting the technical and general office functions of the business. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, detail-focused and confident communicating with customers, contractors and colleagues.

- We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, professional and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
Previous industry experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Additional: The office is closed over Christmas.
