SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

We are looking to appoint a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to join the team at  Haberdashers' Slade Green Primary​.

To work as part of the Teaching Assistant Team and deliver high quality support to SEND students in order for them to make good progress in school.​

Working under the direction of the Inclusion Lead, the Teaching Assistant has the following responsibilities:​

• To provide effective support for SEN students​

• To deliver high quality support for SEN students in-class, under the direction of the class teacher, in order for students to make good progress in their learning.​

• To work with fellow SEN Teaching Assistants to identify specific needs of each child​

• To prepare lessons and resources with which to teach each child as frequently as is required​

• To attend occasional review meetings so as to plan and have a broader view of better ways to be ​more effective when dealing with children​

• To observe Children to find out changes in behaviour or in other areas and report such observations to the classroom teacher/inclusion lead. ​

• Be able to plan and deliver bespoke interventions and manage the different behaviours that each ​child exhibits at every given time. xwzovoh  ​

This role is for 35 hours per week. Salary £22619 - £24271
