7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour Location: DL1 3NL Job Type: Temp to perm The role: Up to 30 deliveries/ collections a day Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.

Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.

Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements: Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1) New pass welcome to apply Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills.
