Banking & Finance, Senior Associate to Legal Director, 5+ PQE , National firm £75,000 to £95,000, Manchester

Banking has been this firm's strongest-performing team, and it has just won a run of new panel clients. The practice is at capacity across offices, which is what has opened the door.

The role is a general banking one at its core: acting for lenders and borrowers on bilateral and syndicated facilities, term loans and revolving credit, drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security packages, and handling refinancings and amendments. Alongside that sits leveraged and acquisition finance, and asset-based lending -facilities secured against receivables.

The team operates as a single national practice rather than a set of regional silos, with genuine cross-border work and collaboration across offices treated as a priority. Partners of magic circle pedigree lead the team and are invested in developing the lawyers they hire.
