At Academics, we work in partnership with a wide network of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire East & West and are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Teachers for September starts.
Whether you're looking for a consistent long-term role or flexible day-to-day supply work to fit around your lifestyle, we have a variety of opportunities available. Supply teaching can also be a great way to experience different school settings before committing to a permanent position.
Secondary Teacher - Role Information:
Deliver lessons across KS3-KS4
Provide reliable classroom cover within local secondary schools
Adapt confidently to new classroom environments and school settings
Maintain positive behaviour management and classroom engagement
Secondary Teacher - Applicant Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) within your subject specialism
Recent experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
Confident, adaptable classroom practice
Strong behaviour management skills and ability to engage mixed-ability groups
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
