About the role
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Water Efficiency Technician.Water Efficiency Technician responsibilities:
You will be responsible for conducting Home Water Efficiency Checks at customers properties on behalf of our client.Conduct water efficiency surveys by engaging customers with behavioural questions and provide advice on water usage along with recommendations for potential savings.Measure water flow rates accurately.Inspect for and repair minor leaks.Install water-saving devices and products.Use handheld digital tools to record water flow measurements and report findings accurately.Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to escalate issues or arrange further works where required.Maintain and manage stock of water-saving equipment and ensure correct usage and documentation.Always adhere to Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures.Water Efficiency Technician requirements:
Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in plumbing required.Strong communication skills.At least one year of customer-facing experience, as all visits involve customer appointments.A manual driving licenceAble to obtain and pass a clean DBS check.National water hygiene card is preferable (training provided for those without).
