VAT Director - Manchester

Overview

VAT Director - Manchester. Clark Wood have been instructed by one of the UK's most respected Professional Services Firms; their Manchester office based in City Centre, are looking for an experienced VAT Senior Manager or Director to lead Advisory services and expansion of Indirect Tax services in the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical VAT advice and support to clients of the firm, many of whom are accountants and fellow professionals, both verbally and via written correspondence.
• Assist with the application of complex, specialist technical advice to provide innovative solutions that add value to the client.
• Lead on the services we provide in specific sectors dependent on their own areas of expertise.
• Gain exposure to marketing and business development as both are large parts of the role, including client alerts, thought leadership, and speaking at physical events and webinars.

Qualifications

• CTA Qualified VAT Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director who has the potential to further develop the VAT & Indirect Tax offering.

Additional information

The Manchester office is commutable from areas all across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas; Bolton, Burnley, Warrington, Stockport, Oldham, Wigan etc.
