Hexa Services are recruiting an experienced Flooring Business Development Manager for an established commercial flooring contractor operating throughout London and the South East.

This is predominantly a sales and business development role, suited to someone with a strong background in commercial flooring who enjoys meeting clients, developing relationships and securing new contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of flooring installations, basic surveying and estimating, but above all, must be confident in generating new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and securing new commercial flooring opportunities.
• Visiting prospective and existing clients to develop relationships.
• Generating enquiries, following up leads and winning new contracts.
• Carrying out basic site surveys, measurements and assessments.
• Working alongside the estimating and operations teams to prepare quotations.
• Maintaining relationships with main contractors, developers and commercial clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the commercial flooring industry is essential.
• Proven sales or business development experience, ideally within flooring.
• Good knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods.
• Ability to carry out basic site surveys and understand project requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Candidates currently working as Flooring Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, Sales Surveyors or commercially focused Flooring Contracts Managers are encouraged to apply.

The priority is someone who can develop relationships and win business. Advanced surveying or estimating experience is not essential, provided you have a sound understanding of commercial flooring. xwzovoh
