Prep Operative

Prep Operative Our client, a growing manufacturing company based in Norwich, are currently seeking a Prep Operative to join their team. This is a full time position on an initial temporary basis, with the possibility of something longer term for the right candidate. Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7am – 5pm Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or metalworking environment. * Previous experience with different hand and power tools/machinery * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities * Following Engineering drawings * Completing prep work for the Sheet Metal * Palletising Parts * Using tools to take burrs of sheet metal products * Organising equipment * Pressing sheet metal products into shape * Other basic fabrication duties For further details regarding this exciting opportunity please forward a copy of your CV today!
