As the business continues to grow, there is an exciting opportunity for a technologist to join the team and develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
This is a varied and hands-on role that sits across both product and customer-facing technical activity, offering excellent exposure for someone early in their career. It also includes supporting the complaints process through investigation, traceability and root cause analysis, working closely with manufacturing partners and suppliers to drive resolution and continuous improvement.
Alongside this, the role supports the technical and product function through maintaining specifications and documentation, reviewing packaging and artwork for compliance, and assisting with product quality reviews, benchmarking and sensory evaluation. There is also the opportunity to contribute to new product development and product change projects, providing valuable experience across the full product lifecycle.
This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their career within food, looking to build strong foundations in technical and product development.
A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related discipline is preferred, along with an understanding of food safety principles such as HACCP. Any experience gained through placements, internships or early roles within food manufacturing, quality, technical or customer-facing environments would be advantageous.
A genuine passion for food and an interest in product quality and customer care will underpin success in the role.
