Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Provider in Leicester. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * Provide person-centred support to adults with multiple and complex needs. * Manage a caseload and develop individual support plans. * Support service users to identify and achieve personal goals. * Help individuals develop the skills needed to live independently. * Provide support with housing and tenancy-related issues. * Assist with rent, rent arrears, bills, benefits and budgeting where required. * Support individuals to maintain suitable accommodation and prevent homelessness. * Help service users move towards permanent and sustainable housing. * Provide advocacy and practical support where needed. * Build positive and professional relationships with service users. * Work with local authorities, housing providers and other agencies to coordinate appropriate support. * Maintain accurate records, support plans and case notes. * Monitor progress and review support plans regularly. Requirements: * Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with multiple and complex needs. * Experience developing or delivering person-centred support. * Good understanding of housing, accommodation or tenancy-related issues.
