Chef - Private School (Romsey) Term Time Only - 40.6 Weeks per Year | Optional Overtime Available We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our catering team at a vibrant Private School in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with a great work-life balance. 📍 Location: Romsey 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday with one Weekend day per term for open days 📅 Working Pattern: · Monday - Friday: 11:00 - 19:00 · 📆 Contract: Term time only (44 weeks per year) · 💼 Overtime: Optional, available during non-term periods or special events · Salary is £16.48 per hour (£23,638) What You'll Be Doing: · Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff · Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met · Supporting menu planning and stock control · Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service What We're Looking For: · Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting) · A passion for food and service · Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management · Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: · A supportive working environment · Regular hours with no late nights or weekend shifts · Opportunities for professional development · Optional overtime for additional earnings Ready to apply or want to know more?
